    “Lugnt och skönt, litet men fungerande utbud. Ett MÅSTE är bil, annars svårt att uppleva just ngnting annat än promenader efter väg...Närheten till Tropea gör hela skillnaden, ca 1,5h till bilkörning till Reggio Calabria, vackert och helt klart en upplevelse. Relativt nära till flygplatsen.”

    “Nähe zu Tropea, zum Hafen, guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten. Parghelia bietet wirklich schöne Naturstrände, was aber auch (zumindest zu dieser Jahreszeit im Herbst) auch recht viel Müll bedeutet - nicht nur hier, auch ganz im Allgemeinen in Kalabrien. In unseren Augen eine Schande, wie viel Plastik die schönste Landschaft verschandelt. Man würde am liebsten mit dem Müllsack... aber dafür reicht der Urlaub dann doch nicht ganz. Man befindet sich halt in Süd-Italien und nicht an kurtaxe-gepflegten deutschen Naturreservat-Stränden. Ansonsten ist der Ort ganz nett, aber ohne besondere Highlights. Wenige Geschäfte für die nötigsten Dinge, ein paar typisch italienische Cafés. Überhaupt ist es etwas schwierig, in der Umgebung einen ordentlichen Supermarkt zu finden (so mit richtigem Parkplatz und Fisch-, Fleisch- und Käsetheke und etwas Platz zwischen den Regalen...). Der nächste, den wir gefunden haben, ist ein CONAD in der Via Provinciale, Santa Domenica, 89866 Ricadi (15 Minuten Autofahrt).”
