The property is quietly situated amidst the unspoilt green countryside of Marche between Gubbio, Urbino and Fano. Thanks to its location on a hill at a height of 400 metres above sea level, you can enjoy an impressive 360° panorama. The view extends from the valleys of the Montefeltro over fields, forests and a river, to the mountains of the Apennines.

The main house is a large villa made from local stone - "Rosa del Furlo". It dates from the 18th century, was completely renovated in 2005 and is now home to five beautiful, welcoming and comfortable apartments.

The old clay tiles, massive beams of oak and chestnut, high ceilings and large windows are characteristic of the building construction of the time, and create a warm, rustic atmosphere. In combination with the modern bathrooms, they form the ideal holiday accommodation.

The house is surrounded by a large garden, with century-old oaks and many other tall trees. There are many possibilities to relax and linger in the shade of many plants around the house. The jewel on the property is probably the convenient swimming pool in a particularly sunny location. There is also a diving board available for entertainment, while the (6m x 12m) pool is surrounded by a large sun terrace. Here, you can enjoy the sun from dawn to dusk. The sunset, especially, is not to be missed.

There are ample parking spaces available on the grounds, which are accessible all year round by car. Arrival by car is also recommended for holidaymakers. The accommodation is suitable for people with disabilities and reduced mobility.

The services of a hotel, such as a 24-hour reception, laundry service and also a washing machine and dryer (for shared use) are also on offer at moderate prices. If you do not wish to cater for yourself, this can be arranged on request in the small restaurant on the property. The restaurant’s dining area has a fireplace and verandah, and cooking is done with organic products from its own garden.

The property is located approximately four kilometres outside Acqualagna and is reached via an asphalted road. Shops, restaurants, a supermarket and a bus service can already be found just one kilometre away. An indoor pool, which is 6.5 km away, a thermal bath that is 8 km away, or also beaches that are 40 km away, offer further bathing possibilities. Transportation connections are possible by train or the motorway, which is 40 km away. The main street is located a kilometre away, while an airport is 70 km away.

Marche has many cities of art to offer, which are worth a visit: Gradara, with its famous castle of Paolo and Francesca, the fortresses of Mondavio, Cagli, Sassocorvaro, Urbino, and San Leo. The neighbouring Republic of San Marino, the Frasassi grottos and the nature reserve of Parco Gola del Furlo are nearby. A beach holiday is also possible because the sea at Fano can be reached in just 30 minutes by car.

The apartment offers living space of 70 sqm. You enter the apartment directly via the living room. Here you will find a kitchen area and a table with chairs for six to eight people plus a double sofa bed. From the living room you can access a large bedroom with a double bed. The bedroom adjoins another bedroom with two or three sleeping spaces. Depending on the customer’s needs, a double bed, two single beds or a bunk bed can be provided. There are two bathrooms.



From the double bedroom, you can pass through French doors and out onto a verandah that faces west. The verandah is furnished with a table and chairs for the private use of the guests of this apartment. The second bedroom also adjoins a verandah which faces east, where you will also find a table with chairs, ideal for breakfast.
