Surrounded by a paradisiacal palm garden and with the south-east coast of Mallorca, where one picturesque bay follows the next, right on the doorstep, this property offers the perfect location for an all-round successful island holiday. Just 45 minutes by car from the airport near the island's capital Palma, the quarry stone villa welcomes you to a spacious Garden of Eden. Your dream holiday under palm trees will come true here, as the area, which is adorned with a variety of Mediterranean plants, is literally framed by numerous metre-high palm trees. Underneath, a sloping saltwater pool with a wide, comfortable step entrance invites you to take a refreshing dip. Afterwards, you can relax on comfortable loungers under the additional shade of the large parasols. The hanging swing seat right next to it offers relaxation in its purest form. A covered rattan seating area with super-comfortable cushions is the ideal place to relax or read a holiday book.

The counterpart to this can be found inside the villa, where there are three more cosy rattan-style seating areas on the ground floor for reading or relaxing on cooler days. Ochre-coloured walls, white-painted ceilings, terracotta tiles and darker accents set by high-quality furniture give the pleasantly bright living (there is a ceiling fan here) and dining area a very homely atmosphere. A beautifully curved arch leads to the semi-open-plan kitchen. A hob, an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine are available here for the preparation of delicious meals, leaving nothing to be desired for discerning villa chefs. There are also three air-conditioned double bedrooms on the ground floor (two with en-suite bathrooms), which are characterised by the same colour scheme and exquisite furnishings as the living/dining area. In an additional bathroom, a graceful, free-standing bathtub invites you to take a soothing candlelit bath in the evening. On the upper floor, which can be reached via an external staircase, there is a further double bedroom with its own bathroom. The terrace up here offers a panoramic view of the beautiful landscape.

This holiday home is located in the southernmost region of the island, Migjorn, and is an ideal starting point for a variety of island explorations and excursions. The MA-4013 road, which is not far away, connects nearby Calonge (1.7 km) with the coastal town of Cala d'Or (3.1 km). You can do your daily shopping in both towns. In Calonge there is a traditional small weekly market on Thursdays, where you can stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables. Cala d'Or also attracts visitors to the villa with its elegant marina, lively nightlife, many good restaurants and chic bars. A short drive along the south-east coast will take you to a number of small but beautiful sandy bays with turquoise-coloured water. Even in the high season, it is usually possible to find a more secluded spot here. The bays in the Mondragó nature reserve are particularly impressive.
