Right in the heart of the Minervois, Le Tilleul du Prieuré is a gîte set in an area of unspoilt countryside, where the tranquil surroundings will enchant you for a relaxing holiday. It is also a place steeped in history, as the building dates back to 1782.

You'll be ideally placed to visit the region and its jewels: the Cité de Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the Cathar castles of Lastours, the magnificent landscapes of the Montagne with its lakes for bathing in fine weather or simply for a stroll, the Abbey of Caunes-Minervois or the Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine, everything is less than half an hour from the gîte!
The heart of the village of Laure-Minervois with its shops and services is less than 4km away: restaurant, tobacconist-press-grocery-café, bank, post office, chemist and doctor. And for those with a passion for heritage: the church of St-Jean-Baptiste and the steep streets of the village.

On site, you'll have a large private garden where you can enjoy your meals outside, either under the southern sun or under the large lime tree. The outdoor area is equipped with a lounge, sun loungers and dining table. The garden is a haven of peace and direct contact with nature. Access to the garden is by crossing the small alleyway, which has very little traffic. There is private parking in front of the house.

Adjoining the owners' house but with independent access via the courtyard, this gîte is located on the 1st floor and is accessed via spiral staircases. It has several rooms: - A living room with a sitting area: sofa, TV, CD-radio, reversible air conditioning, with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and dining table. A small storage area adjoins. - One bedroom with a double bed (140x190cm) - A separate shower room (shower, washbasin and WC) Sheets, towels and end-of-stay cleaning are extra. Baby equipment available on request. WIFI connection. Pets are not accepted.
