Situated in the heart of the Blanquetière town of Limoux, the gîte is an ideal base for visiting the many Cathar sites in the surrounding area: the abbey of Saint-Hilaire, the town of Carcassonne, the village of Alet-les-Bains, the Château d'Arques, Rennes-le-Château and its mysterious treasure, and white-water sports in the upper Aude valley.

Limoux, renowned for its fascinating history and picturesque medieval atmosphere. Stroll through its cobbled streets, visit its ancient churches and soak up the lively atmosphere of its local markets. Wine lovers will be delighted to immerse themselves in the world of the renowned cellars of Limoux, the birthplace of the delicious sparkling wine blanquette, explore the surrounding vineyards, offering a range of exceptional wines to taste, while walkers will enjoy the surrounding footpaths and cross authentic landscapes.

Ideally located, the gîte is in a quiet area close to all shops and amenities: supermarket, grocery shop, restaurant, bakery, pharmacy, tobacconist, train station, banks of the River Aude and entertainment.

On site, the house gives access to a private, fenced garden with a terrace equipped with garden furniture and a plancha. A wellness and sports area is also at your disposal, with an outdoor gym with its own equipment and a SPA, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Free parking is available in front of the house. On the ground floor, the gîte opens onto a large living room with a sitting area equipped with sofa and TV, and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen with dining table. A bedroom with a 160x200cm bed. Separate WC. Access to the terrace from this level. On the lower floor, on the garden level, a bedroom with a double bed (140cm). A shower room with walk-in shower and double basin. Access to the wellness and sports area. Bed linen and towels provided. Housework not included (optional extra). WIFI connection. Baby equipment on request.
