The stylish, modern yet typically Mallorcan villa in authentic quarry stone construction was only completed in 2014 and is aimed in particular at families and holidaymakers seeking relaxation. At first glance, we are greeted by an impressive two-storey building in friendly, colourful terracotta tones. But despite the traditional style with wicker arches on a protruding terrace and the balcony above, the trained eye quickly recognises that this is post-modern architecture. The architecture can be recognised by the pancake design or details such as the vertical strip lighting. The outdoor area around the house has been freshly planted and is yet to unfold its full splendour. Nevertheless, you can already enjoy the view of an olive grove and the greenery. Under the covered terrace by the house is a relaxed polyrattan lounge made of dark wickerwork with light-coloured cushions. This lush, well-shaded terrace also has a large glass table that seats up to 8 people. You can have a wonderful barbecue here, for example, as a grill is provided. If you walk down a few steps from the terrace across the green area decorated with wooden sculptures, you will reach the fantastic pool area measuring 10 x 5 metres. In addition to the surrounding sun terrace and outdoor shower, the special feature is a second, shallower pool that leads down the steps to the 1.80 metre deep pool. This makes it ideal for babies or toddlers to splash around in.

The interior design of the house is not only coherent and stylishly modern, but also harmonises perfectly with the tradition of the exterior. The vaulted ceilings in the large living/dining and kitchen area alone echo the traditional design and lend the post-modern interior a certain cosiness. In keeping with the modern philosophy of living in open-plan (functional) spaces, the living, dining and kitchen areas merge with floor-to-ceiling window elements. The living room is furnished with a beige-coloured couch, which is super comfortable for a relaxing evening in front of the LCD TV. At the opposite end of the room is the super chic kitchen in white high gloss. The cupboards are elegantly set into the walls.
It seems as if the house was built around the really great kitchen, with the fantastic cooking island perched in the centre. The kitchen is fully equipped with a kettle, coffee machine, microwave, oven at a comfortable height, large fridge/freezer combination and much more. The cooking island also serves as a visual room divider. Next to it is the dining area with a large, white dining table and comfortable high-back chairs. The elegant, modern style of the house is emphasised by subtle decorative items such as the bulbous bottle collection made of green glass. The colour contrast is very harmonious and at the same time unpretentiously simple in comparison to the overall very bright, almost white living space. A total of 4 bedrooms are just as appealing as the open-plan living space. All rooms are bright and flooded with light and some have access to the balcony above the terrace. The comfortable beds have mattresses of different sizes. The master bedroom has its own Italian-style bathroom. The other bathrooms also all have a bathtub or walk-in shower and are shared by the other 3 bedrooms. There is also a guest WC. In the bedrooms, many loving details are reminiscent of the past, such as the exposed wooden beams, and at the same time these rooms exude a tasteful luxury that is pleasantly enhanced by a cool understatement and gives visitors pleasure due to their quality design and aesthetics.

As the stylish Villa Calonge manages the balancing act between tradition and modernity, it is also wonderfully positioned in terms of location. The villa is located between the small village of Calonge and the livelier beach resort of Cala D'Or. Calonge is a small, quiet village in a gently rolling landscape. In contrast, Cala D'Or offers an active town life with many bars, restaurants, a chic marina and numerous small beaches that are very popular. Other, equally beautiful, somewhat quieter bays are within easy reach. These include Cala Mitjana and Cala Mondrago. Cala Mondragó is part of the 766-hectare Mondragó Nature Park. The two largest bays in this nature park, ses Fonts de N'Alis and s'Amarador, are connected by a short walk along a rocky path. Nature lovers can discover a rich natural world and wildlife away from the fine sandy beaches. If you fancy nightlife or hustle and bustle, you can drive to Cala D'Or and spend the afternoon or evening in one of the good restaurants. Shopping facilities are available in Calonge as well as in Cala D'Or or Santanyi. The beaches of Cala D'Or and other natural beaches are only a few kilometres away and can be reached incredibly quickly.
