It was built by the Venetian authorities to protect the population of the royal town of Nin and the island of Vir from Turkish attacks. Head to the town of Nin, which holds the title of the oldest Croatian royal town, visit the town of Zadar, its sea organ and its salute to the sun and enjoy the beautiful sunset and romantic evenings!
