Welcome to the heart of the Montagne Noire mountain range (the foothills of the Massif Central), ideally situated between Carcassonne and Mazamet (30 mins) for visiting the treasures of our beautiful Aude, the Black Mountain Village residential leisure park is a place of relaxation, well-being and leisure. It's a place to stay for nature-lovers, in a tradition of hospitality and conviviality. Just a few metres from a riding school, you can admire the horses, which will delight young and old alike. Surrounded by forests, a few minutes' walk is all you need for a magnificent view of the Pyrenees. The gîte's private terrace offers a haven of peace, protection and conviviality. If you're a keen walker or cyclist, you'll be well served by the many footpaths that criss-cross the beautiful Montagne Noire. Less than half an hour from the gîte, you'll find a host of attractions, including the Passerelle de Mazamet, the Cité de Carcassonne, the Montagne Noire lakes for swimming and fishing, and the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours. Set in a 1.5 hectare estate surrounded by meadows and forests, the 6 B.M.V. gîtes will allow you to enjoy your stay at the pace that suits you best. They can accommodate 4 to 6 people per gite, for a total of 36 people depending on the configuration chosen. Independent gîte comprising on the ground floor: a living room with a sitting area and an open-plan kitchen. A first bedroom with a double bed (140cm). A separate shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. Upstairs, a mezzanine with 2x80 bedding. Baby equipment available on request. The gîte has a private terrace with garden furniture, perfect for relaxing or eating al fresco. Communal barbecue. Private parking inside the property. Pets are welcome at an additional cost. Sheets, towels are optional. - and end-of-stay cleaning included. Horses in paddock: €4/day/horse.
