Stroll to the beach, Nordstrand offers many bathing opportunities on the region's green beaches, including the salt marshes at Süderhafen harbour or the guarded Holmer Siel bathing beach. There is also a small fishing lake just a few metres from the flat door. Whether long walks on the beach, cycling tours through picturesque villages or exploring the Wadden Sea National Park, there is plenty to discover in the surrounding area. The flat is an ideal starting point for exploratory tours. Take trips to St. Peter Ording, Husum or Friedrichstadt. The neighbouring islands are also easy to reach from Nordstrand, visit Sylt, Hooge, Amrum or Föhr.
