Welcome to the Jardin des Gallinettes, situated in a quiet area close to the main tourist sites of Carcassonne (Medieval City, Cavayère Lake, Canal du Midi...) you will appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings while being close to many places to visit, ideal for a relaxing stay and the discovery of our beautiful department Alairac is a typical southern village, with a grocery store/tobacco shop/press only 5 minutes walk away and a small shopping centre at the entrance to the village. In the surrounding area you can discover the region on foot or by bike, following the country lanes in search of nature and diverse landscapes. On site at the gîte you will enjoy a beautiful heated swimming pool with a cover (3.5x8.5) treated with salt, in all weathers you can enjoy a bath with quality water at a good temperature. The Jardin des Gallinettes also has a barbecue and a gas plancha to enjoy moments of conviviality around a meal on the terrace with electric pergola. During your stay, you will be in the company of 6 gallinettes (without rooster) do not hesitate to treat them well because in return you will be rewarded with eggs, it will not be necessary to feed them because everything is done by the owners. The parking is private and secure inside the property, with a possibility to park your car or put bikes/motorbikes. For an equally sporty holiday you will have 2 mountain bikes and an elliptical bike at your disposal.
The gîte comprises on the ground floor a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area with sofa and TV, a dining table with a pellet stove. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned, the first one has a 160cm bed and the second one a 180cm bed, the third bedroom is upstairs in a large comfortable mezzanine with a 140cm bed, an ideal corner for children. Still on the ground floor, a large independent bathroom with an Italian shower, a beautiful and large bathtub and a double washbasin. A separate toilet. The garage with washing machine and dryer. Baby equipment is available on request. WIFI. Solar heating. A greenup socket is available for electric vehicles. Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning included. Electricity consumption: 2kwH/day/person included; excess consumption to be paid to the owner at the end of your stay. Pets are only allowed after approval by the owners.
