While your kids let off steam, you can relax in the second outdoor hot tub and enjoy the view of nature. You can also play a game of boules, as there is a court right next to the house. If a few guests are too much hustle and bustle in the house, there is also the possibility to spend the night in your own shelter, overlooking the fields.
In the surroundings of Hostrup Strand there are many exciting attractions to visit - for example the medieval castle Spøttrup, the flower park Jesperhus, the open-air museum Hjerl Hede, the limestone quarries of Daugbjerg, the B&O museum in Struer, the National Park Thy, Venø with Denmark's smallest church and the Limfjord island Fur, where you can go fossil hunting and visit Fur Bryghus & Restaurant. The area also invites you to varied hiking, running and cycling tours, and Venø Bay is popular with anglers, kite surfers and windsurfers. On the beach you can pick fresh oysters and crabs for a delicious meal.
