Charming country house with pool (with a total of 6 flats, see also IEC103), nestled in the beautiful Emilian hills and only 3 km from the famous thermal baths of Salsomaggiore. The holiday accommodation is on the ground floor, has a separate entrance with a lovely covered terrace for al fresco dining and a wonderful view of the countryside. Guests have access to extensive communal green areas for sunbathing and a pool. The location is ideal for discovering the area and its typical products such as Parmesan cheese, cured meats and wine. Art history enthusiasts can visit the Duchy Castles Route, about 3 km away, with the ancient Scipione Castle (11th century), where frescoes and furnishings from the 17th century are well preserved. Several hiking trails lead from the accommodation to the Via Francigena, and less than 2 km away is the Storione Nature Park, where you can go birdwatching. On request: 1 extra bed or a cot, included in the price. Just 32 km away is the city of Parma, the city of music and theatre with Toscanini's birthplace and museum, the Casa del Suono and last but not least the Teatro Regio, which was built at the request of Empress Maria Luigia and inaugurated in 1829 and is still one of the most famous theatres in the world today. Bologna 110 km; Florence 220 km; Genova 195 km. In the internal restaurant (occasionally open on Saturday and Sunday) you can savour local dishes. The restaurant is used for wedding receptions. The last 200 metres of the tarmac access road are bumpy in places.
