In a small mountain village in the Cathar Pyrenees, surrounded by unspoilt nature, ideal for hiking and discovering the flora and fauna of the area (birds of prey, marmots, stag bellowing, vultures, etc.), a communal gîte on two levels. On the ground floor: living room with kitchen, separate toilet. On the first floor: 4 bedrooms (2 beds 140 cm for 2 people and 6 beds 90 cm for one person), shower room, separate toilet. The gite opens onto an adjoining garden with barbecue and garden furniture. In the vicinity: numerous hiking trails, mountain biking, horse riding, fishing. The Camurac resort (18 km) offers in winter its ski slopes and snow activities (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing). White water sports in the upper Aude valley at Axat (25 km), climbing gym and lake at Belcaire (13 km). Local produce: charcuterie, potatoes from the Pays de Sault, cheese, trout at Lafajolle, local produce markets at Roquefeuil (July and August). Places to visit: Châteaux of Puilaurens, Puivert, Montségur, dinosaur museum in Espéraza... Local festival on the village square, next to the gîte, during the week of 15 August. The cleaning is at the charge of the tenants, or proposed on the spot in option at 50€. - from the beginning of November to the end of April: a fixed price for the heating of the premises (not including electricity consumption) is invoiced in addition to the actual consumption by means of a bill for an amount of €45 COVID19 information: bedding is not provided except for mattresses and protective covers (disinfected mattresses, covers washed at +60° and disinfected at each new rental). The premises, furniture and sanitary facilities are also fully sanitized and disinfected with each new rental.
