Located in a charming village in the Upper Aude Valley, Gite du Lavoir offers an ideal stopover on the route of the Pyrenean passes, just 15 minutes from the majestic Cathar Castle of Puilaurens. You will find all the necessary shops as well as a pool with a playful basin and a jacuzzi just 5 minutes away, in the neighboring village.

Water sports enthusiasts will be delighted by the activities offered along the Aude River, with numerous bases for rafting, canoeing, and more. The surrounding area of the village also provides an ideal playground for hiking or mountain biking, with marked trails leading to breathtaking panoramas.

Carcassonne is just an hour's drive away, and the Mediterranean Sea is an hour and a half away, offering the opportunity to discover unique cultural treasures and maritime landscapes. Ski resorts are accessible in just 40 minutes.

As for the gite: all the necessary comfort is provided for you to have an enjoyable stay. On the ground floor, an independent kitchen and a cozy living room with an insert fireplace welcome you. On the first floor, a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), a bathroom, and separate toilets are at your disposal. On the second floor, two bedrooms, one with a double bed (140 cm) and the other with two single beds (90 cm), await you for peaceful nights. You will also have access to a terrace with garden furniture, adjacent to the owners' honey house and poultry yard.

Cleaning is included to ensure you a worry-free stay.
