This old sheepfold, will particularly satisfy hikers. The Massif du Caroux is called the "Mountain of Light", with an exceptional environment of rocks, needles and gorges. A variety of trails and roads lead from the house through the woods and the mountain. One of the marked routes called "Petite Randonnée" (17 kilometers long) is aimed at experienced hikers. It starts from the old listed village of Olargues (3 km) and leads to the Pan du Naudech, where you can enjoy a 360 degree panorama.
At its feet is the magnificent 12th century medieval village of Olargues, which includes Malviès. It is one of the "most beautiful villages in France" and is crossed by the waters of a river full of fish. It is dominated by the old keep of a castle, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view and observe the magnificent alleys.
Other activities in the area: climbing (Gorges d'Héric 10 km), canoeing (Tarassac 10 km), 9-hole golf course and thermal baths in Lamalou-les-Bains (23 km).
