Artist’s house with a maritime design for two to three people, with a balcony like a ship’s bow, a terrace and a communal swimming pool

The holiday house furnished and equipped with attention to detail has a fully air-conditioned interior of around 65m² and is suitable for two to three people. The holiday accommodation resembles the shape of a ship and not only contains many maritime elements, but also features an exceptional façade with a front porch, like a ship’s bow. The fully furnished living room-kitchen has a sofa that can be used as a bed for a third person (80 x180cm). The ground floor also has a bathroom with a washbasin, hairdryer and toilet. A stairway like cliffs leads to the artistically decorated bedroom with a kingsize bed (160cm wide). A detailed representation of a coastal scene invites you to daydream. Within the bedroom there is also an open shower with mosaic tiles, allowing you to immerse yourself in an underwater world. A washing machine is available for use free of charge. The air conditioning units have both a cooling and heating function, allowing stays also during the cooler months.

Since 2018, there is a uniquely designed communal swimming pool (10.5 meters x 4.5 meters) next to
Villa Warka, which can be used by guests staying at Villa Warka as well as two other holiday homes. The terrace has a table and two chairs. From the bedroom you have direct access to the spacious bow balcony with awning. Here you can find two chairs with a table where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views across the mountain panorama. Upon request, an additional five chairs can be made available indoors. You can park your car for free on the private outdoor parking space.

Wi-Fi is free for the duration of your stay. Two cots (65 x 125cm) and a highchair can be provided free of charge, to be requested in advance. The windows are double-glazed and fitted with blinds and mosquito screens.

Pitsidia is in the south of Crete before the famous Matala an d is a romantic, quiet, but not sleepy village. It is only about a three-minute walk to the centre, five minutes by car to the kilometre-long sandy beach Komos, or about 20 minutes on foot along field tracks or the road. In Pitsidia there are minimarkets, a butcher, a bakery, a hairdresser, a pharmacy, a riding farm, traditional restaurants, a very nice breakfast café where you can borrow books, and car rental. A Greek evening with live music is held on the village square once a week, where the village children perform Cretan dances. These evenings exude a great atmosphere. There are other fabulous beaches in the area (Matala, Red Beach, Ag. Farango, Ag. Pavlos, Ag. Georgis etc.) and wonderful walking trails, including through beautiful gorges. The archaeological sites of Festos and Gortina are within easy access, as well as the museum at Vori.
