Delightful detached holiday home 1 km from the medieval village of Pereta, on the hills of the Tuscan Maremma from which you can enjoy the view of the enchanting Argentario, and the surrounding countryside.
The house is particularly suitable for family vacations and can easily accommodate your pet. The climate is typically Mediterranean, with warm and dry summer months and mild winters, perfect both for vacation and for escape from the daily routine at any time of the year.
The owner lives on the property, but guests will be totally independent and privacy is granted. For those travelling with friends and family but love to enjoy their space, we point out another accommodation for six people with code ITM285. The place is totally immersed in nature.
The house is independent and consists of two large rooms, two bathrooms, living room with access to the large covered patio perfect for your moments of relaxation and a private garden equipped with table, chairs and barbecue for outdoor dining during summer holidays.
The house is 1 km from the medieval village of Pereta, 8 km from Magliano in Toscana (with all kinds of shops and restaurants) and 10 km from Scansano. Saturnia, famous for its thermal baths, is 27 km away and the historic villages of Pitigliano and Sovana are 42 km away. There are two golf courses within a 10-minute driving from Scansano. Moreover, in just 20 minutes, you can reach the beautiful sea of the Argentario. From Porto Santo Stefano you can take the ferry to the islands of Giglio and Giannutri, ideal destinations for day trips.
If you love hiking you can find nearby areas equipped for boat trips along the coasts of the Maremma and Argentario Park, or organize horseback rides in the Uccellina Park. There are also many archaeological sites to visit, such as the Etruscan site of Roselle.
The property is located 10 kilometres from the town of Scansano, known for having given the name to Morellino, red wine with a controlled and guaranteed denomination of origin very appreciated in Italy and abroad. Near Scansano you will find several wineries that will show you their products, and visitors can taste the different varieties of wine offered and choose their favourite. We are about two hours by car from both Rome and Florence.
