Nearby are scenic promenades.There is a lush garden with bushes, trees and open lawn areas for play andsocializing. In this area with many lakes and ponds there are goodopportunities for swimming and fishing. By the owner you can rent both boat andcanoe. An example of one of the lakes is Västra Silen, a well-known sportsfishing water. The lake has a good stock of mainly perch and pike. The chanceto get salmon and trout is also good if you target your fishing thereafter.Fishing license required. With the canoe you can smoothly slide along thebeach. It's an unbeatable way to experience the Värmland nature, sitting in thecanoe and feeling the scent of coniferous forests and possibly listening to theeuphoric bird quake rising from the foliage.If you wish to leave, you onlyhave 40 km to the Norwegian border with large shopping centers. Approx. 15 kmto the center of Årjäng with shops, cafes, restaurants, trotting track withmuseum. The third weekend in September is the affluent Årjäng market, one ofSweden's largest and oldest markets.
