The cosy Chalet Saasia is located in the middle of Saas-Fee. The chalet offers 120 m² of living comfort for 9 people. The holiday home is spread over 3 levels. The kitchen with living room and large dining table invites you to cook and linger together. The kitchen with electric cooker/oven, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine and dishwasher ensures that you can prepare Valais specialities every day and relax after a wonderful hike in summer or a beautiful day in the snow. On the other two levels there are a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. From the balcony you have a wonderful view of the mountains and the valley. Shops and restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away. Surrounded by mighty 4,000 metre mountains, Saas-Fee is the ideal starting point for all alpine activities and for exploring the fantastic mountain world of the region.

Saas-Fee is completely car-free, only electric vehicles have access. Cars can be parked in the car park at the entrance to the village or in the multi-storey car park for a fee.
If you spend your holidays in the Free Holiday Republic of Saas-Fee with its four villages of Saas-Fee, Saas-Balen, Saas-Almagell (the home of former ski star Pirmin Zurbriggen) and Saas-Grund, you will receive a citizen's pass as a value-added guest card. Thanks to the citizen's pass, all guests can enjoy numerous attractions, such as unlimited use of the PostBus throughout the Saas Valley.

Summer

During the summer months, the entire Saas region is covered by a network of over 350 kilometres of hiking trails. Starting from your holiday apartment, you can make the most of it. The themed and adventure trails are particularly popular with families with children. With a bit of luck, you can observe and feed the tame marmots on the marmot trail. This is also possible in other parts of Switzerland, where you are surrounded by mountains.
In Saas-Fee, 70 kilometres of well-marked bike trails are waiting to be explored by you. Mountain and e-bike hire as well as guided bike tours are available and can be booked or hired from the Intersport shop in Saas-Fee.
The golf course of the Golf Club Matterhorn is located between the villages of Randa and Täsch. At an altitude of 1,400 metres above sea level with views of the Breithorn and Matterhorn, you can play the 9-hole, par 36 course over a length of 2,931 m from May to November. The terrain is mostly flat and therefore easy to walk.

Winter

A truly magical moment! Saas-Fee is the winter paradise in the Valais holiday homes in the Upper Valais for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages. The region around Saas-Fee is served by around 22 ski lifts and mountain railways. Skiers and snowboarders can discover a fairytale winter paradise with over 100 kilometres of groomed pistes. Surrounded by a magnificent mountain backdrop, including 18 four-thousand metre peaks, the ski area fulfils every wish. There are also 20 km of winter hiking trails, 8 km of cross-country ski trails, 11 km of toboggan runs and various toboggan runs for a variety of activities. Thanks to its location, snow is guaranteed from the end of October to the beginning of May.
Snow-covered trees, wide expanses of snow and a marvellous panorama invite you to go on extensive snowshoe tours or peaceful winter hikes. Enjoy the peace and quiet, recharge your batteries and soak up the beauty of nature on one of the winter hikes. The well-maintained hiking trails of the Saas Valley take you to the most beautiful vantage points in our region.
