Welcome to our apartment house Hofgarten Kaiserstuhl, your home away from home. Our holiday apartments are in the midst of Kaiserstuhl, in the Vogtsburg municipalit, in Oberrotweil on a quiet private cul-de-sac on the outskirts.
The holiday complex newly built in 2010 with a sauna, little pool with a lawn and sun loungers (weather-dependent May to September) offers five fully-furnished and stylish holiday apartments each measuring 30-40m² (for 2-3 people). They are equipped with a flatscreen TV, radio, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, digital alarm etc. This one-room apartment has a fully-equipped little pantry kitchen with a two-ring ceramic hob, a fridge with a little freezer compartment, a microwave, an extractor fan, a kettle, coffee machine and toaster. The bathroom has a real glass shower cubicle, a WC and a hairdryer. The living room-bedroom provides a double bed (180 x 200cm, individual mattresses) without a footer for taller people. The cosy sitting corner has a flatscreen TV with satellite channels and radio.
The apartments all have a separate entrance, a parking space, a balcony or terrace with garden furniture and a parasol and a wonderful view of the Kaiserstuhl vineyards (Mondhalde, Eichberg, Henkenberg…). Our lovely little garden with a sauna complements the pool perfectly.
We also offer a variety of trips to Freiburg, Colmar (Alsace), Basel or the Black Forest. You will be delighted with our special service.
The Hofgarten holiday complex site is surrounded by a historical wall and borders the vineyards directly. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the Oberrotweil train station with connections to Breisach, Freiburg, Schwarzwald, Basel etc. There is a very well-stocked Edeka market with an adjoining bakery 50 metres away. Doctors (GP, dentist, physiotherapist) and pharmacies are available locally. Oberrotweil has some restaurants with good local cuisine (all within a 5 to 10-minute walk) and the neighbouring localities have a range of gastronomy up to the starred gourmet temple “Schwarzer Adler” in Oberbergen. The Oberrotweil outdoor pool and the idyllic Burkheim reservoir lake are a short distance away by car or bike. The well-known leisure park Europapark Rust provides fun for all ages and is only about a 35-minute drive away.
