Simply being - in and with nature

The Moarhube is in a very special place - in Mariahof, in the middle of the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen nature park. Nature is in charge here, inviting us to immerse ourselves in its rhythm, to arrive and to find peace. At over 1,000 m above sea level, you have the feeling of being above things when you feel the dewy grass under your feet in the morning or enjoy the sunset rocking on the covered veranda in the evening. The holiday home is in a secluded location, with the forest behind and beautifully blooming meadows in front of it. Part of these meadows can also be used for camping, or simply to sleep under the stars (tent and cot rental). Hiking trails starting directly from the house lead to idyllic bathing lakes, to alpine pastures, to the highest castle ruins in Styria, the Steinschloss or to the waterfall in the Gragger Gorge. The house itself can accommodate up to 6 people (two bedrooms), has a cozy living room with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice stove, and a small bathroom with a shower and separate toilet. A covered porch with a place for a campfire and a place for barbecuing is right next door, here you can also make acquaintances with one or the other tent guest.

The winterlandscape is very nice there. You have a beautiful look over the vallue. The main heating in the house is a wood-stove, so you have to fire it every day. (in the bathroom and the toilet are extra electric heatings). Enjoy the view into the crackly fire, which is also warming your heart.

The Moarhube is also available to people who want to get away from it all, even for a longer period of time. If you wish, I would be happy to help you with your concerns and to find the right setting, such as a one-day or multi-day pilgrimage, nature forays or rituals.

The house has two bedrooms on the upper floor - a spacious room with a double bed and a single bed (all solid wood furniture) and a small room with a bunk bed and a single bed (1.80 m long). On the ground floor there is a cozy living room with a romantic fire in the tiled stove, seating area and couch, the kitchen is equipped with a cooker and cutlery, a refrigerator, electric stove and dishwasher. In the wet area you will find a toilet, shower and sink and also a washing machine. The wooden room is south-east of the house, there are also sun loungers and a parasol. In front of it you will find a cozy and wind-protected seating area. Next door, the porch with additional seats and swings as well as a grill can be shared. Campsite guests can also be here in the meantime.
