Das Gebiet Sjusjøen ist mit seiner reizvollen Natur Sommer wie Winter beliebt und gilt als Eldorado für Freunde der Bergwelt. Vor Ort gibt es abwechslungsreiche Wanderrouten im Gebirge sowie diverse Gewässer zum Baden und Angeln zu entdecken. Im Gebirge Sjusøen stehen insgesamt mehr als 300 km mit markierten Wanderloipen zur Auswahl. Mehr als 10 Gipfel mit Panoramaaussicht findet man allein in der näheren Umgebung! Mieten Sie hier eines dieser Reihenhäuser an, die nur einen Steinwurf vom schönen See Sjusjøen liegen. Von hier kann man ganz schnell zur gewünschten Freizeitaktivität in der Natur aufbrechen. Kinderbett und Hochstuhl für je NOK 100,- bzw. NOK 50,- zu mieten. Das Doppelbett im Haus ist 120 cm breit.

In den Touristenhütten der Gegend kann man sich verpflegen und sogar eine Elch-Pizza bestellen. Der Naturpfad um den See herum ist 6 km lang und für Anfänger ideal. In den Seen ringsum gibt es viel Fisch, am See Sjusjøen gleich unterhalb der Häuser findet man schöne Badeufer. Gutes Terrain auch für Radfahrer mit mehreren, gut ausgewiesenen Routen verschiedenster Schwierigkeitsgrade. Fahrradverleih vor Ort und Radwegekarte zu kaufen. Schöne Fauna mit Elchen und anderen Wildtieren in der Gegend.

Kurze Entfernung nach Lillehammer, dem Austragungsort der Olympischen Winterspiele von 1994. Dort gibt es gute Einkaufsläden und mehrere Museen zu entdecken. In der Umgebung stehen Freizeitangebote wie Elch-Safari, Rollski-Bahn, Golfplatz, Wassersportcenter, Ausreiten und mehrere Spielparks für Kinder zur Auswahl.
