This small, cosy seaside resort is considered by many, especially families, as their summer retreat. Schönhagen has a sandy beach, approximately 1000 metres long and protected by lifeguards. It seamlessly connects to the beach of Kappeln in the north and to a steep coast in the south. On the beach, directly behind the small promenade, there are 60 comfortable cottages. This house, with a sauna and a fireplace, is comfortable and cosy. In this small resort you will find good entertainment programmes throughout the year. Many events are conducted especially for families with children during the summer months.

    “Positiv: Die Aufteilung der Räumlichkeiten und die Lage des Objektes waren soweit gut. Viele Bodentiefe Fenster, dadurch wirkten die Räume hell und freundlich. Die Küche ist klein aber vollkommen ausreichend.

    Negativ: Zustand (Sauberkeit-Komfort-nicht Kleinkindgerecht) mangelhaft. Die Matratzen waren doch sehr durchgelegen und könnten mal erneuert werden. Die Küche nicht besonders kindgerecht eingerichtet: Schubladen mit scharfen Messern in Kniehöhe, E-Herd ohne Kindersicherung. Fenstergriffe in Griffhöhe (nicht abschließbar), kann man einem in unserem Fall 2,5 jährigem Kind schlecht erklären, dass es gefährlich ist, da beizugehen. Die Dusche war nicht besonders sauber, der Abfluss verstopft. Heiß-Wasser nur begrenzt (wahrscheinlich zu kleiner Speicher).     “Wir haben mit 4 Personen Urlaub gemacht in diesem Ferienhaus. Platz war ausreichend, die Lage ist Perfekt! Austattungstechnisch ist alles da was man braucht, Möbel bzw Tische sind schon sehr benutzt :-( Die Betten sind sehr niedrig und klein. Es ist kein Wischzeug vorhanden, negativ da bei Starkregen, der von der Seeseite kommt, der Regen in die Haustür reindrückt :-(
