« Positiv: Sehr freundlicher Vermieter. Musikzimmer mit elektr. Schlagzeug, Klavier und Gitarre. Negativ: Zustand der Küche war veraltet und bei der Ankunft nicht ausreichend gereinigt. Auflagen der Sitzmöbel müssten getauscht werden. »

« Other than that some of the chairs on the porch and a few of the mattesses on the sunbeds should be changed to new ones everything was excellent and my family all enjoyed themselves a lot Positiv: It was better than anticipated - bigger rooms, better surroundings and very friendly host. My 5 month young granddaughter liked the patio by the pool a lot (always shade and airy) and my 80-year old mother liked there were lots of different seatingarrangements in shades around in the garden where she could spent here days, so all in all - we had a good time there:-) Negativ: Ants in the kitchen and mosquitos on the porch, but that is almost what to expect when you are on holiday in the south Restaurant: Ristorante Pizzeria Andrea - Local pizzaria - good and cheap. Used it both for takeaway and to eat at Ausflüge: Fattoria di Montemaggio - 75-minutes drive away (last 5k in hills on dirt and gravel) is an excellent wine-tasting-experience »

« Zu empfehlen und wir fahren bestimmt nochmal vorbei auf dem Weg in den Süden! Positiv: Super netter Vermieter und das Anwesen ist schön und sauber! Man kann Hunde frei laufen lassen und vor allem, man hat viel Platz. In jedem Zimmer ein Bad, was ganz sicherlich sehr viele Vorteile bringt! Nur zu empfehlen!!! Negativ: Gibt es eigentlich nichts zu meckern! »

« Sehr schönes Haus mit großem Garten und ungeheizten Pool. Klimaanlage nicht vorhanden, aber auch im August nicht nötig, da sehr kühle Bauweise.
Wir waren mit 5 Personen und zwei kleinen Hunden vor Ort und haben die Ausflüge nach Florenz, Pisa, Arezzo und San Gimignano genossen.
Der Pool war Nachmittags schön warm, obwohl wir wieder Erwarten drei Tage Regen hatten.
Federico und seine Schwester sind sehr nett, zurückhaltend aber trotzdem immer hilfsbereit.
Das Gemüse und Obst im Garten stand uns ebenfalls zu Verfügung.
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, empfehlen aber dringend Repellents und Cremes.
Icaridin (auf Handelsnamen habe ich mit Absicht verzichtet) war nur mäßig hilfreich, evtl. doch lieber ein Produkt mit DEET 50 %. In den lokalen Apotheken und Geschäften gibt es nur das erstere.
Alles Andere und Positive der weiteren Kommentare möchte ich bestätigen. »

« Amazingly charming villa filled with art with lots of space for 2 families. We were 9 people enjoying Guardalaluna for 6 days in July. We came with two rented cars and had no trouble finding the way to the house on Google maps.

The villa had 4 spacious bed rooms, each with separate bathrooms, perfect when families has different sleeping hours! We were provided with towels for both showering and pool. So great! Note that this is not a hotel so all towels have different colors for example. The whole place fells very cosy and genuine.

The house was perfectly cool even if the temperature was +30C degrees outside thanks to its construction and we slept with closed windows the whole time. Since the villa was placed in a mountain area the temperature was a couple of degrees lower than in Firenze for example.

There were plenty of space to eat both outside and inside and the kitchen was big enough to hold two families cooking in the same time. Salt, pepper and some other spices was there when we came. Also washing and dishwashing powder could be found, even though we brought our own.

We enjoyed hanging out in the living room with cosy couches and a big pool table.

The large garden was fabulous with lots of olive trees and plenty of different sun beds, chairs, hammocks etc around the house and the big swimming pool with lovely warm water. There was some cute cats strolling around in the garden but they kept for themselves all of the time.

The owner Federico met us when we came and gave us a tour of the house. He helped us with all out questions during our stay and was very service minded and friendly. He and his family lived on the top floor of the house with his family but we hardly saw them at all. We had the swimming pool for ourselves the whole time. One of the days Federico invited us to visit one of his friends olive and wineyard nearby. It was very interesting and none touristic and we also bought some nice red wine and olive oil. Federico was translating the whole time. Last night we invited him and his sister (living on floor 2) to dinner and had a great time.

All in all we had a fantastic stay! Thanks a lot Federico!

Some things to improve:
- The kitchen gas stove and dish washer was a bit old and needed service. The top shelf in the washer fell down if you weren't careful and the hatch/door needed support or it fell to the ground. Some of the gas hobs didn't work or needed to be lit by a lighter. We managed to cook but a service would make it a bit easier. »
